Activities
Hobby Classes: Hobbies are a part of the curriculum for all the students of class LN to VIII. Hobby classes in Fine Art and Craft, Outdoor & Indoor games also Dance and Music are offered to the students of primary classes on working Saturdays of every month.Exhibitions and Demonstrations: The School encourages and inspires the students to make the best use of their interest, skill, time, energy and knowledge in making projects in Science, Social studies, Mathematics, Languages, Art & Craft and Games & Sports. An Inter disciplinary Exhibition cum Demonstration is held every year. Prizes and Awards are given away to the students for best display and demonstration of their exhibits.
Competitions: The school is quite alive to its responsibility of inculcating leadership qualities among the students. The students are trained to shoulder positions of responsibility. There are school appointments, house appointments, class appointments, etc. The class monitors perform duties assigned to them by the class teachers. School prefects and House prefects work in the various school committees, hold periodical meetings and suggest the Principal about the welfare measures to be taken for the student Community.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES :
An array of co-curricular and extracurricular activities complements the academic courses to enrich the life of the School community and to help the students develop physically, emotionally and socially.
Physical education is given as much importance as academics. Pupils are provided ample opportunities to play a wide variety of games both indoor and outdoor games during the School hour as per the provision in Time-Table under the supervision of trained PET’s and coaches appointed for the purposes.
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
Annual sports Meet is organized every year and Certificate of Merit, Medals and Trophies are awarded to the Students.
ANNUAL DAY
The Annual Day is celebrated every year. Student participation in various colorful cultutral programmes is encouraged to give them a strong feeling and to make them feel responsible for bringing a good name to the school through the presentation of their expertise.
RECREATION
The school provides facilities of leisure time activities like Table tennis, carom, Chess, Badminton, Football, Cricket, Basket ball etc. Playgrounds are also equipped with swings and see saw etc.
COMPETITION
The school organizes and encourages healthy competitive participation in various disciplines like essay, debate, art, dance, music etc., organized both internally as well as by externally flora. The participants have brought laurels to the school in several occasions.
Social Service League
The Social Service League aims to help the poor and needy connected with the working of the school. It also helps those in the community, who are the victims of the natural and other calamities and need immediate help and support.
The underlying concept of the League is to inculcate compassion and generosity in the students, so that each individual student contributes the best of one's ability and learns to take pride in giving rather than taking. The development of this single personality trait may revolutionise the mind of the child and encourage him/her to serve the mankind.
